The delicate detail that goes into the making of these mugs is something as a potter I’m both proud of and love to do. The wheel-thrown body, hand-pulled handle, sculpted nose, hand-carved eyes, hand-painted glaze, and floral decal application ~ each step takes a great amount of time and care. * All items are made and glazed locally in my Springfield, IL studio. Due to the nature of handmade work, my pieces will show marks of the making process, and slight variations in size, finish, and colour, are to be expected. There may also be slight imperfections in comparison to mass-produced factory items. All stoneware, glazed pieces are microwave/dishwasher/food safe unless specified otherwise. For more delicate items or to prevent slight dulling of the glazed surfaces, handwashing may be preferred, however, this is up to the personal preference of the buyer/user.
